Hyde Park Ohio

Hyde Park is one of Cincinnati's oldest neighborhoods. Historic gaslights and towering shade trees are along many of the streets, which exhibit impressive homes that continue to maintain the charm of past eras. Many of these homes, from smaller frame and brick homes to castle-styled stone mansions include leaded and stained glass windows and doors, intricate woodwork and georgous professional landscaping.

Hyde Park is a favorite among young professionals and includes a colorful, village square with a fountain surrounded by many upscale specialty shops and restaurants. Norwood's Rookwood Pavilion and Hyde Park Plaza offer more than fifty shops and restaurants.

Graeter's Ice Cream parlor, located on Hyde Park Square, is the oldest surviving ice cream manufacturer in America and the only one left that still makes ice cream using the French pot method. And when the time comes to run off those extra pounds from eating at Graeter's, Alms Park and Ault Park are just several minutes away.
